Infrastructure:
Abeda Inamdar
Senior College of Arts, Science and Commerce is one of the twenty nine
institutes located on Azam Campus. In addition to the facilities provided in
the college, many of the campus infrastructural facilities are also utilized.
Hostels:
There are 03 boys’ and 09 girls’ hostels with television, Internet, Refreshment
facilities, various Indoor and outdoor games.
Cafeteria:
The campus has 05 canteens and lunch homes.
Health
Center: Unani Medical College, M. A.
Rangoonwala College of Physiotherapy and Research, M. A. Rangoonwala Dental College
are located on the campus and provide medical aid as and when required.
Auditorium:
Well equipped 15 Conference / Seminar halls with a varying capacity to
accommodate 20-500 people are accessible on the Campus.

Sports
facilities: Well maintained playground,
gymnasium, badminton hall, basketball / Tennis court, 400m running track and
pavilion.
Transport
Facilities: Bus service is available to
organize study tours/picnics/ academic visits on prior intimation as and when
required. Adequate parking space exists for staff and students.
Security Measures:
467 CCTV Cameras are fixed at strategic
locations on the campus to ensure safety and security. Professional agency is
hired for providing security services.

Waste
Disposal Mechanism: Waste generated from
hazardous chemicals used in practicals and research projects are safely
disposed as per the standard methods. Sanibins are kept in ladies washrooms. ‘Computer
Hardware Academy’ disposes off e-waste through an agency certified by the Maharashtra
Pollution Control Board.
Solid
Waste Management: Vermicomposting pits
(15x9 sq. ft.) are in place on the campus and manure generated from organic
waste is used as fertilizer in the campus.
Energy
Conservation Practices: Girls’ hostels have 20 Solar Panels with a capacity of
heating of 3000 liters of water per
day to reduce power consumption.
Eco-Friendly
Environment: Efforts are taken for minimize the
carbon foot print on the campus by maintaining 62 different species of Indigenous and Exotic plants. A total of 449 plants have been planted in our
campus which sequester 39.35 tons of
Carbon per annum. The Campus is tobacco free and has been declared as Horn Free
and plastic free zone.
